At St. John’s and Grace we worship following the example of the generations of Christians who have gone before us. Through the centuries, a pattern of readings developed called the Lectionary. In the Lectionary, each Sunday is assigned a specific set of readings that repeat each year. Many of these tests are beloved and well-known lessons. Some may be difficult to understand, but teach important things. Following the Lectionary gives us the opportunity to learn from the whole of God’s Word.
